Denier is a measurement of the thickness or weight of individual threads used in a material. In banner mesh, it describes the robustness of the threads in the weave. For example, a 1000×1000 denier mesh uses thick, durable threads in both the vertical (warp) and horizontal (weft) directions, making it strong and resistant to wear and tear.

What is Thread Count?

Thread count refers to the number of threads per inch in both directions of the mesh weave. For instance, 9×9 thread count means there are 9 threads per inch vertically (warp) and horizontally (weft). A higher thread count, like 12×12, results in a tighter weave, providing better print quality but less wind permeability.
